Logistics Manager
Due to business growth and expansion, we are looking for a hardworking and highly motivated Logistics Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations and have overall responsibility for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehousing and transport functions.
The role will include:
• Overall management of a 7-day operational week for transport, own and sub-contracted, plus warehousing.
• Management of a knowledgeable and experienced team, recruitment and development.
• Driving efficiency improvements through forward planning
• Development and implementation of processes
• Legislative and Health & Safety compliance
We are looking for someone who has experience of a similar role or who is ready to take their next step in their logistics and warehouse career. The candidate needs to have excellent leadership skills, be a strategic thinker and be focused on improving efficiency.
Up to date Driver CPC is preferred.
The hours for this role are 40 hours per week but days can be flexible.
Pay: Competitive rates depending on experience, qualifications, and knowledge. Progression opportunities are available for the right candidate.
