Laid With Love eggs – they were always brown, now they are brown and white.
You may notice a change to the shell colour of our fabulous eggs, as some packs will now feature eggs with a beautiful white shell. Don’t worry, they are just as delicious as the ones you are used to seeing from us, but these are laid by a different breed of hen whose eggs are snowy white on the outside and still wonderfully golden yolked on the inside.
Here at The Lakes Free Range Egg Co., you know us for our sustainable, high animal welfare credentials; these super hens are no exception. These little powerhouses lay more eggs than their brown counterparts and do so for longer, while being easy to manage and consuming less feed. They are really important to us for the future of sustainable farming.
