Episode 4 of the BBC Food programme ‘Truth or Scare’ featured eggs, giving them a glowing recommendation. Here at the Lakes Free Range Egg Company we were pleased to take part in the programme which included an interview with our CEO David Brass and footage of our egg packing facilities at work.

The programme followed the history of eggs in the media and highlighted how attitudes and more modern research have changed how we look at eggs. Gloria Honeyford presented the show and admitted “I work well on an egg” and Professor Griffin says eggs are a better source of protein than fillet steak.
